Accessibility Statement

Last updated November 4, 2026

We want everyone to be able to learn about our shells and get in touch with us, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites more usable for people with disabilities.

What we’ve done

  • Pages use headings and landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer), so screen reader users can move around them quickly.
  • Photos have text descriptions, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text colors are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, in both light and dark mode.
  • Every link and button can be reached and used with a keyboard, and shows a visible outline when it has focus.
  • The site follows your device’s light or dark mode setting.
  • If you’ve asked your device to reduce motion, the site turns off its animations and smooth scrolling.
  • Pages adapt to small screens and to browser zoom without making you scroll sideways.

Tell us about a problem

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or need information in a different format, please let us know. Email info@emcodrumshells.com or call 816-300-1550, and tell us which page and what went wrong. We’ll do our best to help, and to fix it.
